What You’ll Do

As our Assistant Ticket Office Manager, you’ll play a key role in overseeing daily ticket office operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and supporting a team of Customer Service Representatives (CSRs). You’ll also:

  • Lead and support ticket office staff, assisting with hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Ensure superior customer service, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and creating a positive patron experience.
  • Manage ticket sales, subscriptions, and group sales, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our Tessitura CRM system.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, including Marketing, Development, Front of House, and Production, to ensure seamless event operations.
  • Monitor and manage financial transactions, including cash handling, deposits, and reconciliations.
  • Oversee ticket inventory, promotions, and special programs, including community ticket outreach and donation requests.
  • Serve as a liaison for event producers, ensuring their ticketing needs are met.
  • Generate sales reports and analyze data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with all ticketing policies and procedures, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

  • Experienced in ticketing operations, box office management, or event services, preferably in a performing arts or entertainment setting.

  • Proficient in Tessitura or a similar ticketing CRM system (preferred).
  • A strong communicator and problem-solver, able to handle patron inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing financial transactions and reporting.
  • Flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in ticketing, box office operations, or a related customer service role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Arts Management, Hospitality, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
