The grandest of them all! A pageant in the gorgeous tradition of story ballets. See all the greatest fairytale characters attend Princess Aurora's wedding: Cinderella, Puss in Boots and the White Cat, Tom Thumb, and Little Red Riding Hood! Truly a feast for the eyes, from the glittering Fairies to the famous entrance of Maleficent and on through the enchanted forest – be enchanted by The Sleeping Beauty!
The Low Sensory/Special Needs Sleeping Beauty is uniquely different from a traditional Sleeping Beauty production: house lights are up 25%, volume is down 25% with no special effects such as fog used. An ASL Interpreter signs the welcome, a brief reading of Sleeping Beauty story and, time allowing, the Q&A afterwards. CWB's Board of Directors serve as wheelchair attendants. The performance is 60 minutes and patrons are free to emote, fidget, walk around, leave and re-enter the theater as needed all in a non-judgmental environment. For Low Sensory/Special Needs tickets, complete the Student Matinee Reservation Form.
This performance is presented by Central West Ballet, a Resident Company of the Gallo Center for the Arts, learn more at https://www.centralwestballet.org.
