SOWETO GOSPEL CHOIR: SONGS OF THE FREE

They are known as South Africa’s most heavenly voices, and five minutes into this concert you will undoubtedly agree. This performance honors the 100th birthday of Nelson Mandela. Soweto Gospel Choir’s first album, Voices of Heaven, hit No. 1 spot on Billboard’s World Music Chart within three weeks of its release in the U.S. Since then they’ve stacked up awards galore, including American Gospel Music awards for “Best Choir” and “Best International Choir.”

Jim Messina.  He’s as influential as it gets. On film, Henry’s been in “McCale’s Navy” and “Material Girls,” and recently co-starred in a faith-based movie, “Saving Faith.” Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Willie Nelson and Carrie Underwood are just some of the stars he’s opened for. Henry also is a regular performer at the Grand Ole Opry.
